American Lives Lost in War

I wanted to hop on here to talk about a post you may have seen from the president on the war in Iran following the deaths of 4 service members — because we can’t just sweep this under the rug. Turning the deaths of American service members into a talking point is shameful. Every life lost in this war mattered. Their sacrifice mattered. And their families deserve more than having their loved one reduced to a statistic in a social media post from the president. I put on the uniform at 17 years old to serve my country. Everyone that takes the oath does so knowing that they may make the ultimate sacrifice. We do it because we love this country. My heart is with their families during this incredibly difficult time. #ny01 #congress #suffolkcountyny #politics #longisland
